03 / How it works

Five steps from first email to final repayment.

  1. You apply

    Email us, or fill the form below. We log the request and a member of the team writes back the same working day.

  2. Employer verify

    We confirm your employment with a short email to your HR. The amount on the page is whatever your salary supports.

  3. We assess

    We look at what your salary supports, minus any existing obligations. We are conservative on purpose.

  4. Money lands

    Disbursed to your mobile money or bank account the same day approval clears.

  5. You repay

    Your employer routes the repayment from your salary. You feel one ledger, not several. Schedule is agreed in writing before any money moves.

04 / What you need

Three things, plainly.

    Proof of employment.

    A recent payslip, or a letter from your employer on company letterhead. Either works.

  2. 02

    Your employer's confirmation.

    We need them to acknowledge the advance and route the repayment. We handle that introduction so you don't have to.

    Basic salary information.

    We use this to set what we can offer. It stays between you, us, and your payroll.

06 / Before you write

Questions people ask about Thrive.

  • Does my employer have to be a Gaya partner already?

    Not necessarily. If they are not, we'll have one short conversation with your HR to set up the deduction route. Most agree within a day.

  • Will my colleagues know?

    No. The deduction shows up on your payslip the way any other salary advance would. It is between you, your payroll, and us.

  • What if I change jobs mid-loan?

    Email us before you leave. We restructure the remaining balance to a direct mobile-money route. We do not accelerate the loan.

  • Can I take a second Thrive while one is active?

    No. One Thrive at a time. Once you've cleared one, the next one approves faster.
